                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1625
                   HAMILL ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST AND
                   NORTHWEST LINE OF HAMILL ROAD SOUTHEAST OF
                   HIXSON PIKE, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1625 Hamill Road, being
                on the northeast and northwest line of Hamill Road
                southeast of Hixson Pike.  An unplatted tract,
                being part of the property described in deed book
                4022, page 135, ROHC; and being all of Tax Map No.
                110P-A-33.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Landscaped screen along the north line of the 
property
                   in accordance with the Landscape Ordinance;
        
              2.   Dedication of right-of-way as required by the City
                   Traffic Engineer; and
        
              3.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
